Sun & Wind Sensors

The Somfy Solaris RTS sensor is a sun and wind sensor that controls your awning.

When the sun levels reach your desired threshold the sensor will extend your Awning and so if the sun goes in or the wind picks up it will retract your Awning.

The way this sensor communicates is via radio and so all that is required is to put a wire to a plug socket.

Another example of one of our Sun & Wind sensors is our Nice sun and wind sensor for use with Nice radio motors. It is a great way of automating your Sun Awning. 

As with the Somfy Solaris RTS sensor when sun levels reach your desired threshold the Awning will extend and when the sun goes in then so does your Awning! If the wind gets beyond the set threshold your Awning will retract at all times.

This particular sensor is easy to install and only needs one cable running to a power source. From up to 200 metres away the sensor communicates with your Awning via radio.
